Ten Years
Interest Free at Steve Bennett Hi-Fi
Geelong's
Johnny-come-lately store, Steve Bennett Hifi who, incidentally, still
won't open Sundays has finally got on to the interest-free bandwagon. "I
was shattered to hear that over 70% of box-mover store customers
defaulted on their payments" Mr. Bennett said. "It works out that they
pay penalty interest and all the interest incurred in the 44-odd months
leading up to when the final payment was due"
Steve
Bennett Hifi believes they have found an answer to this dilemma. "We are
offering 120 months interest free. Of course we require a moderate 90%deposit
on the R.R.P. and that's it!"
According to
Mr. Bennett the balance is completely optional, "they (the customer) can
either pay it, donate it to their favorite charity or not pay at all
it's completely up to them."
Mort
Mortimer's has always had the latest.
Mort was adamant about
having the latest model He was very careful not to be caught buying the 'old model'
So much so that he
enlisted his physician and clairvoyant to predict how long he would
live.
Mort's team was
incredibly accurate, all his friends and relatives were most impressed
by the system he bought Just 2 weeks before his funeral. The incredible
clarity at Mort's life-slide-show.
Good old Mort, just
waited 'n waited. Got it, got it right, and left nothing but the best.
Lesson; Don't wait
forever, there will always be something newer and better. One day!
Look at what great
new stuff we have at Steve Bennett Hifi, strike when you are ready
and forget the rest. Enjoy it, buy it in time to be able to wear it out!
Pavarotti mistaken for
Barry Gibb
When a Mr. Small
assembled his new tiny speakers it appeared that a beard is not the only
similarities between these two singers.
Mr Small was not told
that he needed at least a 75mm midrange speaker to produce male vocals (Mr.
Pavarotti's voice that is, perhaps not Barry's) "..in fact all the vocalists sounded like
Barry, sort of falsetto" Mr. Small said.
Fact; The plastic computer
style satellite speakers that are used in popular systems only
begin producing sound over about 1KHz. A baritone such as Robert Merrell
sang between approx 110 to 425Hz.
The tiny sub-satellite setup
also means that a performer such as Topol in Fiddler on the Roof
will stay firmly stuck fiddling on the floor! The frequencies he sings
at are all in the woofer box, and that's mono!
So it will be no Topol
characteristically parading around the stage at Mr. Small's home.
Poor Pavarotti, a tenor
with an enormous vocal range would actually be jumping between the
woofer box and the tiny satellite tweeter boxes as the passion mounts.
Steve Bennett Hifi has
excellent full range speakers that are affordable (and you don't even
have to be a rich man!) Look up B&W MT20
